These are photographs I've made of places and people, along with thoughts on the art and craft of photography (and other things that inspire me). My subjects include landscapes and architecture from around Wisconsin, Michigan, the Great Lakes and New Mexico. I also enjoy photographing (and talking with) interesting people.

Crane over Pheasant Branch
This photo was made over a month ago at Pheasant Branch Conservancy in Middleton. The only one I took, and my expectations were not high, so I didn't really give it much thought till today. I guess luck really does favor the prepared mind.
